Buying K-Beauty directly from Korea: a five-point checklist
Confirm product identity, destination eligibility, total cost, local import rules and your order records before buying Korean beauty from overseas.

Ordering K-Beauty directly from a Korean online store can give you access to brands and editions that are not sold where you live. It also raises questions that a domestic purchase does not. These five checks help you understand the complete order before you pay.
1. Identify the exact product
Record the full product name, option, shade and size from the listing. Character editions, limited packaging and renewed versions can look alike while carrying different names and contents.
2. Confirm that the item can ship to you
Some Korean listings are licensed for sale only within South Korea. On THE CAST, the NBPSIS lip products, including Glam Glow Lip Tint 01 Apricot, and the Cinnamoroll Botanical Cica Foam Cleanser are currently restricted to Korean delivery, and checkout blocks international shipping for them. Other items, such as the SOOYA SEOUL Lilac Veil Body & Hand Lotion, still need a destination check in the purchase flow.
3. Compare the complete cost
Add the product price, the EMS fee for your destination and any duties, import taxes or clearance charges collected locally. On THE CAST's standard international orders, products and postage are paid at checkout, while the recipient pays local duties and clearance fees.
4. Check local rules
Your country may restrict certain cosmetic ingredients, aerosols or quantities for personal import. Check the official customs or consumer-product guidance for your destination before ordering.
5. Keep your records
Save the order confirmation and product link. If something arrives damaged or different from what you expected, a precise question with the order number and clear photos is much easier to resolve.
