New packaging or a different formula? How to check a Korean beauty reorder
Compare identifiers and labels before reordering a familiar cosmetic in a redesigned bottle or box.

Compare the current discovery shortlist
Choose a product role first. Prices below come from current public listings; they exclude delivery, duties and personal offers. This is a retailer selection, not a quality ranking.
| Brand & role | Exact product | Net size | Current price | Price per 10ml / 10g |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SOOYA SEOUL · Body & hand lotion | Body & Hand Lotion - Lilac Veil | 400g | 28,800 KRW | 720 KRW / 10g |
| SOOYA SEOUL · Rinse-off wash | Body & Hand Wash - Lilac Veil | 400g | 26,100 KRW | 652.5 KRW / 10g |
Only compare unit prices for products with the same purpose and measurement unit. Grams and millilitres are not interchangeable; a tint, a gloss and a wash perform different jobs. Open the exact product to review its label, ingredients, directions and purchase options.
A redesigned bottle does not tell you whether the formula has changed. Equally, a familiar front label does not establish that every detail is unchanged. When reordering Korean beauty, compare the full product identity and ask about any differences that matter to you before treating a new listing as the same purchase.
Build a small reference from your old product
Keep the full name, scent or shade, net quantity and a clear photo of the original label. A saved receipt can help identify the seller and option, but its short description may omit important details. If a batch code or barcode is visible, include it in your question without expecting it to answer every formulation question on its own.
Similar bottles can contain different products
SOOYA SEOUL Body & Hand Wash - Lilac Veil and Body & Hand Lotion - Lilac Veil both list 400g at THE CAST. Their shared scent name and size make the words Wash and Lotion particularly important. A photo of one should not be used as proof of the contents or directions of the other.
Ask about the change, then choose
Send the old label and the current product link together. Ask whether the stock is a packaging update, whether the ingredient list or directions changed, and which version will be dispatched. If the answer is incomplete, decide whether to wait or select a clearly identified alternative. Avoid describing an unfamiliar version as your proven favourite until you have checked the details that made the earlier product useful to you.
