K-Beauty targeted patches: compare shape, count and intended area

A practical buying worksheet for targeted cosmetic patches, including usable applications and removal instructions.

Targeted cosmetic patches come in different shapes and pack arrangements. A forehead patch, a pair for the eye area and several small pieces are not interchangeable units. Before comparing prices, identify the intended area and read the instructions for that exact product.

Count usable applications

Use a simple hypothetical comparison. Pack A contains 12 pieces and its directions require two pieces for one application: the pack supports six such applications. Pack B contains eight single pieces, each intended for one application: it supports eight. This calculation describes quantity, not performance. Do not assume that one application is a whole-face treatment or that every patch in a mixed pack serves the same purpose.

Read the whole use sequence

Find the preparation, placement, wear-time and removal directions before buying. Check whether the manufacturer specifies clean, dry skin or compatibility with other products. Do not transfer instructions from an eye patch to another format, extend wear time because a package contains more material, or assume that a patch can be reused.

Keep a cosmetic claim in its stated scope

Words such as lifting or wrinkle care should be read alongside the exact claim and supporting conditions. The shape of a patch or its presence in a retailer does not establish how it will perform for an individual. This worksheet helps identify what is being sold; it is not a treatment plan or a comparison with a clinical procedure.

THE CAST’s related guides cover eye-patch counts and cosmetic claims in more detail. Save the label and pack contents with your comparison so that a future renewal or retailer bundle does not silently change the quantity you are evaluating.
