Seoul Economic Daily reports USD 105 million in deals and a separate USD 331 million consultation figure for the 15–17 October event.

27 October 2026 — Seoul Economic Daily reported on 19 October that K-Beauty Expo Korea, held at KINTEX from 15 to 17 October, generated USD 105 million in export deals. Citing the organiser, the report lists 679 participating companies from 15 countries and approximately 55,000 visitors. It separately gives a USD 331 million total for export consultations.
Different measures describe different activity
The deal figure and consultation figure should not be added together as completed sales. A discussion, memorandum and fulfilled order represent different stages of business. The report concerns the Goyang KINTEX event, not the separate Osong Cosmetics & Beauty Expo covered elsewhere in our news library.
THE CAST shopping perspective
Trade-fair coverage can introduce a brand name worth researching, but it does not replace a consumer product page. Ask which finished item is being offered, which market version is available and who handles a retail order. An export discussion does not tell a traveller whether a particular parcel can reach a hotel before check-out.
For hidden-brand discovery, keep a useful distinction between business momentum and personal fit. Participation in a large exhibition can be a starting reference; it does not establish the ideal product for your routine or prove the results of a skincare claim. Follow our source-versus-product guide to turn a promising brand story into concrete label and ordering questions. This report does not identify the exhibitors as THE CAST suppliers or imply that the reported deals involve our store.
