Korea reports 17.11 million inbound visitors through September

The tourism ministry’s 22 October release provides travel context; hotel-shopping decisions still require an individual receiving plan.

27 October 2026 — Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on 22 October that cumulative inbound visitors reached 17.11 million through September, an increase of 21.5% from the same period a year earlier. September alone recorded 2.06 million visitors. The release also reports a growing share of arrivals through regional airports and seaports.

Tourism totals are not store results

These are national tourism figures, not THE CAST visitor counts, customer numbers or beauty sales. They also do not identify how many visitors bought cosmetics or received parcels at hotels. We use the release as travel context and keep its reporting period separate from today's publication date.

THE CAST shopping perspective

A trip that includes several Korean cities makes delivery planning more specific. The relevant address is the property that has agreed to accept the parcel while you can still collect it, not necessarily the hotel nearest your departure airport. A check-out time can be more restrictive than a flight time.

Our hotel-hopping guide provides a way to compare stays and prepare the information customer support needs: exact products, reservation name, destination and latest acceptable arrival date. Confirm availability, delivery timing and charges before payment. If the required window cannot be met, keep the product links for a later supported home order instead. Growing tourism does not create a same-day or nationwide delivery guarantee, and the ministry's report does not endorse THE CAST's service.
