28 October 2026 — CJ OLIVE YOUNG announced on 2 October that it had launched editorial by OLIVE YOUNG alongside a corporate-website renewal. The official release describes content about beauty trends, brand stories and people, with English and Japanese editions intended to make the material accessible beyond Korea.

Brand stories become part of discovery

The newsroom is organised around NOW, IMPACT and CULTURE. Its behind the brand series features founders of brands carried by Olive Young; the launch announcement names NOTHING BETTER, MEDIHEAL, Cell Fusion C and ATHOME among the first stories. These are details of the retailer's own editorial programme, not independent product tests.

THE CAST shopping perspective

A founder interview can explain why a product exists and what a brand hopes to offer. A product page answers a different set of questions: which option is available, what it contains, how it is used and where it can be delivered. Keeping both sources lets a shopper enjoy a brand story without losing the practical purchase details.

Olive Young can be one discovery route, while an independent online retailer can provide another selection and a different set of buying guides. The useful comparison is the exact product and service available to the customer, rather than assuming that every store carries the same brands or has the same role.

THE CAST links its editorial guides to current product pages so readers can move from an interesting idea to a specific choice. Our gift-information card is one way to preserve that connection after the purchase, with a clear name, original label and working product link.
