THE CAST

Compare beauty orders in the same currency and at the same stage

Keep item prices, shipping and the payment total separate so a cross-border comparison remains understandable.

Start with a matching basket

Compare the same product, size, option and quantity before looking at totals. A refill, a full compact and a set with an accessory are different purchases even when they share the same product-family name. Record any discount conditions alongside the displayed price.

Use the same destination for each shipping estimate. A product-page price alone cannot tell you the final cost of an overseas order, especially when delivery is calculated later in the checkout process.

Keep currency and time visible

Write the currency code beside each amount, not only a symbol that could refer to more than one currency. If you use a conversion for planning, record when you checked it and label the converted figure as an estimate.

The amount shown by a currency converter is not necessarily the amount your payment provider will charge. Review the payment screen and your provider's terms for the currency and any applicable conversion or transaction fees. Do not treat an old screenshot as a current quotation.

Compare totals with the same information included

Make separate lines for products, shipping, applied discounts and any destination charges that have actually been confirmed. Mark unresolved items as unknown. A blank charge field should not silently become zero, and a quoted total should not be expanded with invented fees.

At THE CAST, use the current checkout and shipping guide to review the order. Save the final confirmation so you can reconcile what was ordered and paid. This creates a clear purchase record without claiming that one store is always cheaper for every destination.
