The five-line wishlist that makes a Korean beauty gift easier to buy
Give a friend enough detail to order the right Korean beauty product, without guessing your shade, scent or acceptable substitute.
Compare products in this guide
A friend visiting Korea can be a wonderful shopping partner, but a message saying “bring me something from a Korean brand” leaves most of the decision to them. A short wishlist lets you discover something beyond the familiar names while keeping control of the details that matter. Use THE CAST's exact product links as the starting point.
Write five lines for each request
First, copy the full product name and link. Second, specify the option: for example, NBPSIS Glam Glow Lip Tint 01 Apricot, rather than simply “an NBPSIS lip product.” Third, write the quantity and maximum item budget. Fourth, say whether substitutions are acceptable. Fifth, set the date by which your friend needs to receive the item.
That format works differently for different categories. For SOOYA SEOUL Body & Hand Wash, include Lilac Veil so that a lotion or scent oil is not mistaken for the requested wash. For the NBPSIS Cinnamoroll Botanical Cica Moisture Multi Balm, retain the complete name so that the Vita Bright version is not chosen on packaging alone.
Decide what happens if the item is unavailable
“Ask me first” is a valid substitution rule. You can also name an alternative you have already checked, but do not ask a friend to infer formula equivalence from a similar colour or ingredient word. Keep the original link even if you send a screenshot, because the listing is where availability and options can be checked again.
Before anyone pays, agree whether the budget includes delivery and who will receive the parcel. For hotel delivery, the guest and hotel need to confirm receipt arrangements and the store needs to confirm timing. Your wishlist helps someone place an accurate order; it does not reserve inventory or guarantee arrival before a flight.
