What is a Korean lip tint, and how is it different from a lip gloss?
Lip tints are designed to leave colour on the lips, while glosses focus on shine. Compare shade, finish and applicator with two NBPSIS examples.

Lip tints are one of the most familiar K-Beauty makeup formats. A tint is generally designed to leave a layer of colour on the lips, often with a fresh or juicy appearance that can be built up. A gloss focuses on shine and may add only a little colour. Formulas vary widely, so the product's own description is more reliable than its category name.
Two examples from current listings
NBPSIS Glam Glow Lip Tint 01 Apricot is a 3g glossy tint described as an apricot orange with yellow undertones. It can be applied thinly for sheer colour or layered for more intensity. NBPSIS Glam Plumping Lip Gloss 01 Twinkle is a 3g oil-formula gloss with a clear colour and fine shimmer. One adds noticeable colour; the other mainly adds shine and sparkle.
Both NBPSIS listings are currently restricted to delivery within South Korea. They suit shoppers with a Korean address, including visitors who arrange delivery to their hotel before check-out.
How to compare lip products
Note the shade number as well as the shade name, because one name can appear across several product lines. Compare the applicator, the finish described by the brand and any layering instructions. When combining a tint and a gloss, many people apply the tint first and let it settle before adding gloss, but the product directions take priority.
