The Korean niche perfume house says its Bukchon store keeps the hanok's rafters, pillars and courtyard and adds its first standalone cafe, CAFE RED ACCORD.

29 October 2026 — The Korean perfume brand Born To Standout announced on 21 October a fourth flagship store in Bukchon, Seoul, after its stores in Hannam, Samcheong and Seongsu, Wikitree reported. The announcement did not give an opening date.

A hanok reworked for perfume

The brand said the store keeps the structure of a traditional hanok, including its rafters, pillars, lattice windows and courtyard, and adds its signature red, stainless steel and sculptural forms. The design draws on the private women's quarters of Joseon-era homes, with a perfume display modelled on traditional bedding chests, a folding screen finished with dyed luffa and mosaic tiles made from roof tiles. The site also houses CAFE RED ACCORD, the brand's first standalone cafe.

How the brand describes itself

Founded in April 2022, Born To Standout presents itself as a niche perfume house using natural ingredients, long maturation and fragrance concentrations of 30 to 40 per cent. It reports sales in 82 countries through more than 900 stores. These are the company's own figures.

THE CAST shopping perspective

Korean scent brands increasingly use Korean craft and architecture as their design language, from hanok interiors to bottles inspired by traditional vessels. A flagship visit is the best way to experience that identity. When you buy, separate the setting from the product: note the scent name, concentration and size you actually tested.
