27 October 2026 — CJ Olive Young opened Olive Young Gyeongju Silla on 16 October, opposite Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal in North Gyeongsang Province, Seoul Economic Daily reported on 19 October. The two-storey, hanok-style store has about 446 square metres of retail space, making it the largest Olive Young store in Gyeongju, according to the report.
Inside the store
The report says the interior draws on Silla-era artefacts and gives priority to seating and terraces alongside product displays. The store offers three diagnostic devices for skin, scalp and colour matching, a tea-scent tasting bar and a goods zone with Gyeongju-themed souvenirs. Olive Young opened a separate hanok-concept store on Hwangridan-gil in 2024.
THE CAST shopping perspective
Visitors to Gyeongju can now try products in a large store close to a transport hub. If you find something you like, record its full name, size and shade before you leave. A diagnostic result reflects that device's method on that day; treat it as a starting point for your own comparison rather than a prescription.
