29 October 2026 — Shilla Duty Free has started a one-year promotion with the skin-treatment booking platform Yeosin Ticket, also romanised Yeoshin Ticket, its Chinese-language service and WeChat Pay, Digital Daily reported on 26 October.
How the promotion works
Visitors who pay for skin treatments through the platform with WeChat Pay receive offline prepaid cards and online points for Shilla Duty Free. The benefits apply at the Seoul, Jeju and Incheon Airport stores and on Shilla's online duty-free mall. Shilla described a link with the platform's refund service for foreign customers as a first for a duty-free operator; it is separate from the government tax and medical refund systems.
Other duty-free moves
The same report said Lotte Duty Free had added Korean food brands and opened a Pulmuone brand hall at Gimpo Airport on 23 October, and that its Jeju store hosts a Korea Tourism Organization souvenir shop until 13 December.
THE CAST shopping perspective
Many visitors now combine clinic appointments, duty-free and store visits in one trip. If you receive aftercare advice from a clinic, follow it before adding new products. For cosmetics you want to buy in Korea but not carry around, THE CAST can confirm hotel delivery for eligible items before you pay.
