Take product photos that help customer support
Show the product identity, relevant detail and surrounding context while keeping personal information private.
Take one overview and one detail
Begin with an overview showing the complete product and package. Then take a closer image of the issue: a printed code, an option label, a damaged closure or a part that does not seem to fit. Both views are useful because a close crop can hide which product is being discussed.
Use even light and check that the text is in focus. Avoid filters that alter color or contrast dramatically. For a reflective surface, change the angle slightly so the relevant marking remains readable without covering it with a finger.
Add the words a photograph cannot supply
State the full product name and selected option, then explain what you expected and what you observed. If the concern involves a dispenser, describe the steps you followed and the manufacturer's directions you used. Do not repeatedly force a mechanism just to produce a video.
For a shade question, describe the lighting and include the exact shade name. A camera image can help communicate a comparison, but it does not create a precise color measurement or establish how another person's display will render it.
Share through the right channel
Use THE CAST's private support route for order numbers, contact information and delivery details. Review every image for an address label, payment information or unrelated personal material before uploading it publicly.
Keep the original photographs and the date of your message until the issue is resolved. A concise description with two readable images is often easier to follow than a long set of unlabeled screenshots. It also makes follow-up questions more specific.
