Turn a lip-colour photo into an accurate Korean beauty order
Use a three-part colour note to distinguish a shade you saw, a finish you want and the exact NBPSIS option available online.
Compare products in this guide
A photo of a lip colour is a useful memory, but it is not an exact specification. Camera exposure, lighting, screen settings and the wearer's natural lip colour can all affect what you see. Before buying a discovery from an unfamiliar Korean brand, turn the photo into three separate notes: product identity, visible finish and the feature you actually liked.
Separate the shade name from the look
For NBPSIS, THE CAST lists Glam Glow Lip Tint 01 Apricot and Glam Plumping Lip Gloss 01 Twinkle. Keep the full name with the number. “01” by itself is not enough: these are different product lines. In our 27 October price check, both were KRW 14,400 for 3g, so price alone would not resolve a mistaken selection.
Write whether you liked the colour family, the visible shine or the applicator format. Then compare that note with the official listing and any clearly identified swatches. A finish seen over another lipstick may not represent the product worn by itself. A product name containing “plumping” does not tell you how the sensation will feel to you.
Use a store test as a reference, not a substitute claim
If your photo came from an Olive Young visit, keep the original tested product's name too. The two retailers have different assortments. A similar-looking NBPSIS option is a new choice to investigate, not proof of the same formula, finish or wear. THE CAST and Olive Young are independent retailers.
When the available evidence does not settle your preference, ask a precise question or postpone the purchase. When it does, open the exact tint or gloss below and verify the option at checkout. This simple note is especially useful if a friend will order on your behalf or you plan to buy the same shade again later.
