27 October 2026 — Hyundai Glovis has started an end-to-end logistics partnership with Shopee Korea for Korean cosmetics brands that sell overseas through Shopee, The Korea Times reported on 26 October. The service began operating in October 2026.
What the service covers
According to the report, Hyundai Glovis handles domestic pickup, air and ocean freight, export and import customs clearance, local regulatory permits and fulfilment through a single point of contact. The aim is to reduce delays caused by passing goods between several providers and to ease country-specific licensing work. The partners plan to expand beyond Southeast Asia, including into Latin America. Hyundai Glovis describes Shopee as having about 700 million users.
Why logistics matters to shoppers
A cross-border beauty order depends on more than a product page. Packaging, permitted ingredients, customs procedures and the final delivery step all affect when an item arrives and what it ultimately costs. Larger logistics networks can make Korean brands easier to find abroad, but each marketplace and destination still applies its own rules.
THE CAST ships its own international orders by EMS to supported destinations. Check the destination, each product's eligibility and the full quote in the purchase flow before paying. Some Korean listings are restricted to domestic delivery, and the checkout will say so.
